The ultrasound pregnancy scan will confirm if your bitch has had had a successful mating giving an indication of numbers and viability or in some cases will show that there are no puppies present.

We can scan at any stage of pregnancy but our preference is between 28 – 35 days post mating for optimum results

Scans are carried out by applying a water based gel to your pets abdomen, then using an external probe we scan their stomach to see if there is a visible pregnancy, pictures are relayed to a screen that you can see, just like a human pregnancy scan!

Ultrasound scanning is a non-invasive procedure, therefor causing no harm or discomfort to your pet.

We are VIS qualified and a member of the Animal Ultra Sound Association
